Student Sexologist
Laura Miano

Laura is a student sexologist, with a Bachelor in Psychological Science and is currently undertaking a Masters in Sexology. Laura is a driven individual with a passion to develop her career in sexology. She warmly welcomes each client with keen enthusiasm and encourages an open dialogue in a judgement-free space. She is understanding, compassionate and approaches each session by establishing her clients’ individual goals and needs, and attentively supports them to achieve their desired outcomes.

Laura feels strongly about embracing all aspects of sexuality and appreciates the unique ways in which it manifests in different individuals. She holds progressive and open-minded ideologies on sex and relationships, and through her work as a sexologist, hopes to grow her understanding of how sexuality can prosper within relationships.

Whilst finishing her sexology training, Laura will be offering low cost counselling to concession card holders for common issues such as sexual pain, vaginismus, sex education, erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.

 

Sexologist
Lauren French

Lauren is a recently graduated sexologist holding a membership with the Society of Australian Sexologists. Lauren has a real passion for sexuality education as well as helping individuals or couples through a multitude of sexual difficulties and experiences. Lauren creates a warm and inviting space for clients to feel comfortable to share and be heard. All sessions are held within a judgement-free space, as Lauren welcomes all diverse sexualities and varying individual experiences. She also works with Body Safety Australia, a social enterprise protecting children from sexual abuse with whole community solutions. Lauren works with all genders, orientations and identities and offers a judgment-free, safe space for all beings. She is queer-friendly (LBGTIQ) and works with clients in any aspect of sex and sexuality. She believes that sex should be able to be discussed openly and that everyone deserves to have a pleasurable and enjoyable sex life. She specialises in sex education, and empowering individuals to be less goal- orientated and more pleasure orientated.

 

Physiotherapist
Dora

Dora is our in-house Physiotherapist, with a special interest in Women’s Pelvic Health.
Dora works extensively with women that have pelvic floor related problems including incontinence, prolapse, sexual pain and menstrual pain, in addition to assisting women before, during and after pregnancy.

Dora uses a holistic and proactive treatment approach that combines hands-on therapy, education and exercise therapy for optimal client-centred care. She strongly believes every woman should be pain-free and have access to high-quality services throughout all life stages.

Dora offers specialised group exercise classes tailored to pregnancy and postnatal recovery and pelvic related conditions.

Psycho-Sexologist
Jasmine Zahner

Jasmine is an experienced Sexologist and a level 2 registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She also holds membership with the Society of Australian Sexologists (SAS) and has over seven years experience as a workplace coach.

Jasmine’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and a Masters of HIV, STI’s and Sexual Health (Counselling).

Jasmine works with all genders, orientations and identities and offers a judgment-free, safe space for both couples and individuals. She specialises in a variety of sexual concerns, including vaginismus, premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction. She works with clients around self-esteem, body image, anxiety and lack of desire.

Ensuring that her clients are comfortable and relaxed, Jasmine is queer-friendly (LBGTIQ) and works with clients in any aspect of sex and sexuality. She believes that sex should be able to be discussed openly and that everyone deserves to have a pleasurable and enjoyable sex life.

 

Psycho-Sexologist
Tendai Chirawu

Tendai is a registered general psychologist with AHPRA and holds a membership with the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the Society of Australian Sexologist (SAS).

Tendai is an experienced psychologist and works with clients who present with anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life adjustment issues, relationship problems, sex and sexuality concerns.

Tendai understands talking about mental health or sex and sexuality can be overwhelming and therefore works from a place of compassion, empathy and positive regard. Tendai cares about what matters to you in your life and aims to offer an individualised and collaborative experience in your therapeutic journey. Tendai’s sessions are person-centred where the focus is on autonomy, building upon a client’s own capability and personal resources to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Tendai maintains a broad perspective and takes into consideration the impacts of social, biological and cultural influences. She integrates therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and positive psychology to help clients understand their struggles, address barriers and build on existing strengths. In addition, she is motivated to empower her clients to achieve greater self-awareness, self-acceptance and self-love as this is essential to healing, personal growth and living a well-rounded life.

It is important to her, that her clients feel at ease and have a safe space to talk through their difficulties. She offers a warm, non-judgemental, culturally sensitive, inclusive environment and works with couples, individuals, all genders, orientations and identities.

 

Psycho-Sexologist
Meg Callander

Meg is a warm and approachable sexologist. Her practice is versatile and multidisciplinary, combining counselling, coaching and comprehensive sexuality education.
Creative and client-focused in her sessions, Meg uses strengths-based approaches to support clients to safely navigate sex and relationships, and start enjoying more fulfilling sexual experiences. She understands there is no one-size-fits all approach to sex and sexuality, so draws upon her professional training in sexology, health promotion, and tantra to offer clients relevant and practical options.
Determined to create an open and positive dialogue about sexuality, Meg creates a safe space for people to talk openly about their sexual goals and challenges. She believes that  healthy sexual communication and boundaries are key ingredients for a satisfying sex life, and specialises in helping clients take full responsibility for their sexual wellbeing and pleasure.

Meg is a member of the Society of Australian Sexologists and her qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma of Sexology, Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion (Hons), and a Diploma of Youth-work. She is currently completing an Introductory Certificate in Embodied Counselling and Certificate of Sexological Bodywork with the Institute of Somatic Sexology later this year.

Meg works with individuals, couples, adults and young people. Her work is trauma-informed and inclusive of cultural, gender and sexual diversity.

Kimberly Villareal

Kimberly is a college undergraduate majoring in Management. Over the years she has worked in different organisations as a customer service representative and was very successful in her management roles and giving customers award-winning service. She attends professional development training and continues to work on her customer-based skills.

Working with Chantelle is her first experience in the healthcare industry. She is friendly and relatable and enjoys contact with patients and professionals and the learning process that comes with working with a Psycho-Sexologist.
